Hello I’m Abi and thanks for stopping by!

I am a natural light family photographer based on the south coast of England and the face behind Studio: Sunny Side Up.

​

I thought I would tell you a little bit about myself.  I was born and raised by my Filipino parents in Brighton, England, we made a big move to the sunny views of Los Angeles with my wonderful husband and cheeky monkey daughter, Summer.

But after 2 years of adventure we have come back to the sunny shores of Brighton and we had another baby, Kai!

To be honest they’re the real reason how and why I do photography. I love to capture the little quirks of every day moments and turn them into something special. I’ve always loved the idea of being able to look back at memories many moons from now and being able to re-live that same emotion. It also gives me great pleasure being able to do this for other people and that’s why this all started.

The name comes from a personal blog that I started when I first moved over to California, and since I like to document life it just felt that the photography side is a natural progression from this. 

​

Some of my favourite things: cake, animals, ice cream, Disney, drawing, beach, film and hanging out with friends and the family.
